MOT認証評価国際ワークショップ

2007年12月6日開催

MOT国際シンポジウム(ICIM2007)が、12月5日(水)～6日(木)に開催されます。この一環として、MOT認証評価国際ワークショップを開催します。

概要

2003年より文部科学省認可の法科大学院、会計大学院、MOTなどの専門職大学院制度がスタートしました。これらは設立5年以内に外部の認証評価を受けることが法令で定められています。

現在、日本には約50のMOTコースが存在していますが、この内10校が文部科学省の設置認可したMOT専門職大学院です。これら10校は2005年にMOT協議会を設立し、MOT認証評価のための基準案を作り、今年度3校が認証評価の試行を行いました。

Workshopの目的は、海外および日本のMOT教育の専門家が集まり、このMOT認証評価基準案に対する意見交換と討議を行うことにより、最終的な認証評価基準に纏め上げることです。

当日、第4回ICIM(the 4th International Conference on Innovation & Management)が併設して開催されています。このWorkshopは文部科学省の支援のもとに実施されます。

Invitation to the International Workshop on MOT Accreditation

Organized by the Association of Professional Graduate School for Management of Technology (MOT)
Sponsored by the Grant in Aid for MOT Accreditation by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT)

Scope

In 2003, MEXT set the official requirements for the establishment of a professional graduate school, according to which many law schools, MBA and MOT schools have been founded, and they must receive the MEXT approved accreditation within 5 years after their foundation. There are about 50 MOT courses in Japan nowadays, and 10 of which are admitted as the professional graduate schools approved by MEXT. They organized the Association of Professional Graduate School for Management of Technology (MOT) in 2005 in order to improve their educational contents as well as to cope with the accreditation.

The Association has worked to prepare the draft standard of attestation and assessment and three MOT schools were selected among the members and adapted for the trial.

The present workshop aims to ask and exchange the suggestion and advice for the above mentioned draft standard of attestation from the foreign and domestic specialists in Business and Technology Management, and to review the draft in order to finalize it.
